Description

The DR-H variable swirl diffuser is a high-performance, long-range diffuser. It is designed for heating and cooling rooms with open ceilings from 3 to 15 m high. It allows the precise adjustment of the ratio between horizontal and vertical air intake with minimal influence on pressure variation.

Construction

  • round housing with connection opening on the horizontal position
  • air supply openings at the perimeter and at the bottom plate of the diffuser
  • element for controlling the direction and volume of air
  • an internal perforated sheet ensures even distribution of air throughout the diffuser

Material and finish

Material options:

  • galvanized sheet metal (standard)
  • stainless steel sheet metal AISI 304 SB
  • stainless steel sheet metal AISI 316L SB

Standard finish: RAL 9010 matte

Optional finish: any colour from the RAL palette.

Electric actuator (E)

Actuator options:

  • CM24-L
  • CM230-L

The actuator can only be installed on diffusers of dimensions D1=400 to 800.

Thermostatic actuator (T)

Thermostatic actuator installed on the diffuser measures intake air temperature and automatically adjusts the position of the blades. It works at temperatures between 22 ºC and 38ºC. It does not need an additional source of energy. Diffuser is set to an optimal position and activated in the factory.
